My name is Fred Carter, Jr. and I will be traveling to
Poland. I’m a Senior at Iona College and take a class title Memory and Reconciliation: The Churches and
the Holocaust. Throughout this trip I will be blogging about my
experiences, reactions, and thoughts.
I’m a 21-year-old college student who has only been out of
the USA once. That trip was an educational trip to Costa Rica during my senior
year of high school. I signed up for this class not only because of the amazing
travel opportunity but to learn more about the Holocaust. The information that
has been presented thus far has been transformational.
I’m very much looking forward to this trip.
